Im Labyrinth des Schweigens

Baseado nos eventos reais das investigações que levaram aos julgamentos de Auschwitz em Frankfurt nos anos 60, onde foram abordados os homicídios e os criminosos Nazis foram condenados a penas de prisão.

Frankfurt: 1958: ninguém quer recordar o tempo do regime Nazi. O jovem Procurador Johann Radmann depara-se com documentos que ajudam a dar início ao julgamento de alguns membros das SS que serviram em Auschwitz. Mas tanto os horrores do passado como a hostilidade contra o seu trabalho levam Johann à beira do esgotamento. Para ele é quase impossível descobrir o seu caminho pro entre este labirinto; todos parecem ter estado envolvidos e afiguram-se como culpados.

Based on true events of the investigations that lead to the Frankfurt Auschwitz trials in the 1960ies that eventually tackled the murders and sentenced Nazi criminals to prison.

Frankfurt 1958: nobody wants to look back to the time of the Nazi regime. Young prosecuting attorney Johann Radmann comes across some documents that help to initiate the trial against some members of the SS who served in Auschwitz. But both the horrors of the past and the hostility against his work bring Johann to the point of meltdown. It is nearly impossible for him to find his way through this maze; everybody seems to have been involved or guilty.
